Twin Magazine: Carol Rama, The Antibodies

Kate Neave October 19, 2017

Censored by the Fascist regime, marginalised by the establishment and unknown to the public, Carol Rama spent most of her life languishing at the sidelines of art history. Today we appreciate this cult figure whose raw, erotic, aggressive and unashamedly female work resonates with our contemporary psyche. We talk to four artists and discover how prescient and influential her work has proven for many artists working today.

Twin Magazine is a biannual hardback art, fashion and feminism book available here
