Good Trouble: Florence Peake, Empathy Hole

Florence Peake’s performative, activist practice coaxes her audience out of a place of passivity. She engages with the political climate and drags her spectators along with her. ‘Empathy Hole’, her latest show at Bosse & Baum gallery, addresses the oppressive nature of being silenced. Peake says. “It that feels like the real violence we still encounter today is that inability to be able to get your voice heard.”
